Alta Card
The Alta Card is an RFID (radio frequency identification) chip card available for purchase at any of the Alta Ski Area ticket offices. Benefits of the Alta Card include being able to load/reload "Skiing" online and direct-to-lift access. Alta Cards are not valid until loaded/reloaded with Skiing.
After reloading your Alta Card and arriving at Alta to ski, pause for several seconds by the antenna symbols at our gates. This enables our RFID technology to read and code your pass for the day. After the first lift ride, the pass will function without the extra pause at the gates.
No Refunds. Unused days loaded on an Alta Card expire at the end of the 2007-2008 ski season.
